behind this little Canadian company!
Hey Guys!
I’m Chris and that pic in the header is me and my daughter a couple years back at one of my favourite places on earth, Palmer Rapids. I have a real passion for the great outdoors and always at home in nature. Spent a large part of my life traveling all across Canada and beyond, canoeing many whitewater rivers as a guide, climbing out on the west coast and camping with friends and family.
My journey began in 2012
SKRP came to be after a trip to Nova Scotia where Kate (my wife) and I came across a skate shop that sold rings made out of old recycled skateboard decks. As soon as I got home from that trip I went to work making some for myself. Pretty quickly I started experimenting and expanding, collaborating, building a collection and over time improving and refining the production of our custom skateboard and snowboard products.
Promotional Products
Another focus of mine has been working with promotional companies such as RightSleeve and McCabe Promotional Advertising here in Canada to produce uniquely Canadian made or eqo-friendly products for clients like Shopify, Facebook, Kijiji, Dell, VW, etc. You can see a few of our projects here.

Donated Boards
We have partnered with Canadian skate shops as well as ski hills (Fernie, Banff etc.), US and Canadian distribution and manufacturing companies to keep as many boards out of the landfill as we can.
